Casa Patty...Breath-taking view!

Genuinely, look no further. First, the host. Stefania, is VERY helpful. She is very responsive to any question you have. She also recommends things you're not thinking of. For instance, let her book your transportation from the airport to Positano (ask if the driver Biagio is available. More on him later). She will book you reservations at restaurants, arrange tours, and answer any question you have. Second, the location. Positano is a cliff/mountain town. Casa patty is in a perfect location for views without a grueling hike. The view from the roof terrace is the best in town and I'm not exaggerating. Just the view from the walkway into the home is great. The home has fishing town decor and has most everything you need, including (what we had) a panettone cake, fruit, prosecco, milk, a couple beers, ect. If you haven't been to a mountain seaside village before you might see other properties say "500 meters from the beach" what they dont mention is that property might literally be 1000ft up. Casa Patty has a staircase near it that drops you almost right on the beach. It is about a 5 minute hike but trust me most properties are MUCH higher. Additional info TRUST ME, ive been to italy many times...you want a professional driver and not a typical Naples taxi. Let Stefania book your ride. Biagio knows where to go and gives you a very comprehensive history lesson as you wind along the roads, in a new Mercedes van with good AC too). We opted to stop in Pompeii on the way and he waited 2 hours. I highly recommend Biagio! When you think of Amalfi coast you're picturing Positano. Amalfi is okay-ish but if you're looking for the true Italian (less touristy) vibe, stay in Positano. The local Stores in Positano are great, with very friendly staffs. The collina bakery is the best in town.

Genuinely nothing bad. If I had to mention something it's the 3rd bedroom. It's upstairs and is better suited for 1 person rather than a couple. The 2 rooms downstairs are perfect for couples. We were traveling as a group of 5 (two couples and one teenager). This was PERFECT for that. A couple could stay in the 3rd room but you'd be drawing straws... again not a deal breaker as the only time you'll want to be in the bedrooms is to sleep.

Great views and plenty of room for a group. It was easy access to the beach albeit going down 100’s of stairs.

The bath towels were very rough and scratchy. We had to request for more toilet paper and was told we are supposed to get our own after using the little we had?? But was left a 4 pack anyways. I was not sure on that protocol but was happy they brought some to us!

Beautiful location and view. Staff was excellent. Communications were excellent.

Beds were hard and place could’ve been cleaned better before our arrival but generally a 9/10.

We hosted a small micro wedding at this property, and Casa Patty will forever be in our hearts. Prior to arriving at the property, Stefania, the house manager made trip planning a breeze. She helped book excursions, travel (which was often complicated and included other parties), tours to Pompeii, and completed grocery shopping prior to the trip for everything we needed to have the perfect wedding. Words cannot fully express how special, patient, and amazing of a human she is. Trust me- I messaged her tons prior to the trip and she helped me without hesitation. The home is perfection. The tile floors, the 360 rooftop view, spiral staircase, beautiful kitchen. All of my guests commented on the beauty of the home, and it was clear the owners really love and take care of the property. The photos of the property do not do it justice. We stayed in multiple airbnbs during our wedding-moon journey and this was by far where we felt the most comfortable, and where we felt the most welcomed. We can’t wait to return here for future anniversaries!

First floor shower only had cold water. Wish that beach towels were provided.

The unit was located just above the beach. Far enough to be quiet at night and close enough to see everything going on at the beach. The host Stafania was the best host we have ever had! She helped us with arrangements such as restaurant bookings, airport transfer and tips on what to do. She is GREAT!
