Loved everything! The location is perfect as home base to visit many cities and sites. Lorenzo and Daniela are amazingly kind hosts. Always available to make sure our stay was perfect.

Staying at Lorenzo and Daniela’s place in Tuscany was an absolute delight. The attention to detail in the cozy, well-decorated interiors of this renovated ancient building made for a truly authentic experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, making the quiet, picturesque setting even more enjoyable. It’s a gem in the heart of Tuscany, and I eagerly anticipate my return.

Everything. Lorenzo and Daniela our hosts are the most friendly and helpful people with a lot of local knowledge and the love of arts and anything renaissance related. The apartment was magnificent, stacked with art, books, games. The view from the garden was wonderful, Tuscany at its best. San Gusme is a magical place, why would you stay anywhere else?

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. This was a unique look into living like a local in San Gusme. Lorenzo and his lovely wife Daniela were the most welcoming hosts. The apartment is perfection, with all amenities of a five star hotel. This is the only apartment in Italy I have ever stayed at with a dryer in addition to a washing machine. There is a very good restaurant in this small town of fifty as well as many Michelin rated restaurants nearby. Lorenzo is available with recommendations and shares his private parking and use of his beautiful garden with guests. The bed and linens are very comfortable, the view the best we have seen in all of Tuscany and the warmth of the hosts was the very highlight of our trip. We left knowing we had a most wonderful and unique two days in this beautiful small village with Lorenzo as our resident artist, sculptor, chef, gardener, and Renaissance man of the 21st century. An experience we will not soon forget.

We loved our stay at Borgo San Gusme and missed it as soon as we reluctantly departed.

Extremely beautiful place! The flat was cosy and tidy and there was everything we needed. The views were amazing. The owners were very nice and so helpful. They made us feel like we were old friends. Excellent place to explore the Chianti area
