El Lavandee

The view and the location are perfect. The hosts are very nice and helpful. The house is clean, beds are comfortable.

This property was spacious and comfortable. Super well-equipped kitchen should you want to eat in. Beautiful view of the lake. If you stay here without a car, keep in mind it is a bit of a distance from Varenna. If you like to walk, there is a nice path that takes you there. It isn't a path you'd likely want to take at night, so you will need to utilize taxis at times. Taxis are not super easy to get, but the host, Daniela, is great about helping you to arrange one at any time and will also offer you rides into town when she and her husband (who live on the property) are going in. (Be sure and arrange transportation from the train station with her before you arrive. WhatsApp is best way to communicate with Daniela.) She was a wonderful host.

No complaints.

The property was immaculate with stunning views. It was exceptionally clean and had all essential facilities. Daniela and Marco were so helpful and were always at hand for any questions we had. Their communication was excellent and they really went above and beyond in any way they could. It really was a fabulous property and can’t wait to come back.

If you don’t mind walking it’s ok however be prepared that there is no taxi/public transport in and out the property to the centre.

We felt so comfortable here and slept so well with the comfortable beds and great air conditioning. The private beach was so lovely for a swim and we liked being in a more quiet location without crowds. The kitchen was well equipped and the hosts were so kind and helpful.

It was difficult to get a taxi sometimes and getting to the property is hard if you take the ferry into Varenna because it’s quite a bit outside of the town.

As soon as we arrived, one of our hosts was there to meet us and give us a full walk through of the accommodation. They had even done the nice touch of providing us with some welcome drinks in the fridge and proper Italian biscuits.

The owners are super sweet and nice

The hosts are wonderful! We had a great time. And even swam in the Lake off the private beach.

It was a bit noisy with car traffic during the day but we had such a wonderful time l, we didn't care.

Lovely apartment on the lake, close to picturesque Varenna. Owners Daniela and Marco are such a sweet couple giving lots of great advice about the surrounding area and tips about where to dine.
