Barocco Art House

Prefect location. Martina France was the most beautiful city we visited and Barocco Art House was the prefect place to explore Puglia. The house is beautiful and the hosts were amazing and very helpful.

location was great

the stairs were actually very steep and cut at the top going into the bath and were very dangerous. one could easily fall. The host was out of the country and Mom was to assist. communication was very challenging even with translate app. Parking nightmarish. All worked out but I learned to ask more questions!

stairs but doable for us

The location is great, just on the edge of the old town. The apartment was very clean and it had all we needed for a 3 day stay. The bed was very comfortable and having a large fridge and a washing machine was a bonus. The WiFi was excellent for us. Communication was good with Antonio before our arrival and during our stay. We were met on arrival by his mother who was very helpful. The property has lovely stone walls and ceilings and is very well decorated, but the layout of the property is unusual. You have very steep stairs to get from street level up to the living area then it's up some more steep stairs to access the bedroom & bathroom. As it was just the two of us we didn't really use the other bedroom, bathroom or the roof terrace, which were up a different couple of flights of steep stairs. Whilst thankfully it wasn't a hot apartment and there was AC in the two bedrooms it would still have been more comfortable if there was also AC in the living area. That said, we really enjoyed our stay there thank you.

The very steep stairs were a challenge throughout, but I think the cut away step at the top of the bedroom stairs as you move from the main bedroom to the bathroom is potentially dangerous, especially at night in the dark. Perhaps some sort of 'gate' or barrier might be a good idea?
