Rosalia House

The location is perfect in the historical center of Siracusa. Our host was super kind and gave us a lot of useful information about the city and places to visit and eat. It was clean and the place has everything of importance.

Location was excellent. Close to the Temple of Apollo and other historic sites. The property was authentic and quaint.

Very helpful, generous host. Good location. Convenient location for public transport and taxis. Quiet area, a stone throw from the temple to Apollo. Large comfortable bed. Good sized shower. No stairs!

We arrived at night and the place was difficult to find. It was actually located in a cross street lane to via resalibera. A diagram would help. We found the apartment to be small but comfortable.

It is a small authentic apartment in the old town. Fantastic location. It was quiet and had all the facilities we needed for a stay of two nights over Christmas. I never met the host Salvo, but the information to check in was clear and easy to understand and as we were travelling by car they very kindly showed where we could park for free. Upon arrival we had a Panettone gift, as it was Christmas, and a voucher for breakfast at a local bar which was very kind. The host Salvo was always available for my questions so I would definitely recommend staying here.

Thanks to Salvo and his recommendations and tips we had a great time in his accommodation. He was helpful and always available, making sure we had a good holiday. When we arrived there was a surprise - a little souvenir and free breakfast in a cafè nearby, which was a nice touch! The place is nicely decorated with a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities but we never used it. Location of the Rosalia house is great - in a quiet little street, but at the same time close to all the main sights and monuments. It is also close to the mainland of Syracuse - we often visited it for bigger stores. Highly recommend this cozy little place!

Great little studio to base yourself in the old town Siracusa. Small but comfy. 15 mins walk to and from the bus / train station. Nice to be amongst the old town vibe. Very lovely owner, although never met, who left a lovely breakfast voucher for a nearby cafe - much aporeciated :)

No windows or view as at street level but typical for Sicily old town.
