Rosalia House

Rosalia House is situated in a very good pleace of Ortiggia, only some minutes from every attraction, Salvo, our host, provided all the necessary info before the arrival, so the self check in went very smoothly. He left us some nice gifts ( two magnets of Siracusa) and a voucher for breakfast in a nice caffe nearby (where the” cornetto con la ricotta or con la marmellata” is very delicious. Thank you Salvo! There is nice beach ( only 10 minutes of walk) Diana where the sea was very clean. Who likes to jump from the rocks to the sea, here it is also possible. There also some nice restaurants with perfect fish foods close to the beach. Also I recommend to try the best granita with the briosche in Gelateria Bianca.

The only thing which can be a bit unpleasant, the musty smell inside the house which can be hardly eliminated because there are no big windows in the house ( only a little one ).

The host Salvo is the best person you can wish for! He is a very warm, friendly, and trustable person, who gives you vouchers for free breakfast and good tips about restaurants and sightseeings. The little charming house in a wonderful small alley, gives a perfect Sicilian atmosphere. On a very short distance, a good swim in the sea. And a very nice lady neighbour!

Rosalia’sHouse is one of a kind. It’s small but cosy, the location could not be better on a quiet side street two steps away from Apollo’s Temple in Ortigia. Clean, super cosy, great air con and WiFi. Salvo is host that goes beyond the call of duty to make one feel comfortable and the place was full of little touches that showed his care for the place. He threw in two free breakfasts for me at Caffé Ortigia, definitely the best place for breakfast and 3 minutes away from the house. Renting this place was the best decision I made in my holidays.

Cute designed appartment, compact and well situated in the centre.

Easy to get to, plenty of room, host was very responsive and accommodating

It was a charming small apartment with nice local decor elements. It was in an old town area, from where you could easily walk to all the parts of the island. It was not far from the train and main bus stations (15 min walk, but it was comfortable to reach the apartment). Although we didn't see the host Salvo, but he was always there with his advice and care. There were 2 magnets as a present a breakfast voucher for 2 people from a cafe near the place. We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful, elegant and charming Siracusa.

Loved the uniqueness of this place, fantastic location and such good value. The host was so helpful on WhatsApp giving us all sorts of information for our stay! Really great free breakfast at nearby cafe.

I appreciate this is a very old building in a very old city, but the overpowering smell of damp was not pleasant! Only one small window open to a courtyard to get some fresh air.

Good looking apartment in Siracusa historical center. We appreciated location very much.
