Rosalia House

The stay exceeded our expectations. The host helped with everything he could. He recommended the best places to visit and a restaurant. We even got vouchers for a free delicious breakfast 100m from the hotel. Perfect location. A big plus for the decor of the hotel. You could feel the atmosphere of real Sicily. Thank you for everything :)

It is placed in Ortigia, the most beautiful place in all of Siracuses in my opinion. All good restaurants and remarkable landmarks are really closw to Rosalia house. It is recommended, cost is also a value for money choice. Salvo was really kind and greeted us with souvenir gifts and voucher carda for breakfast.

Perfect location, great host, free breakfast vouchers and in 40 degree heat the room was cool without air-conditioning.

perfect location, very walkable, very cute. the host is the best!! so helpful in orienting us around Siracusa and bent over backwards to accommodate us after Mt Aetna’s eruption cancelled our flight.

Host Salvio is a great host. He sent to us very helpfull informations about location, place of interests, restorans etc. We got gifts from him and voucher for very delicious breakfast. The location of apartment is great.

The hospitality was superb. The host was very friendly and gave us two breakfast vouchers so we could enjoy local pastries in a wonderful cafe nearby. The property itself is very authentic and it looks like you stay in a real Sicilian house and not another generic hotel. It has everything you need and I especially liked the bunk bed which was very comfortable to sleep in. On departure the owner was very kind to allow us to stay for a couple of extra hours. I will stay in the same room when back in Syracuse!

Everything was great

Host, Salvo sent us clear instructions on how to retrieve keys way in advance. They were very easy to retrieve. He also sent us photos of the location so we had no issues finding the house itself. He also sent us a guide on Siracusa and tips where to go to eat and some advice on guided tours. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

Everywhere-walkable (including Archeological Park) location and unique Ortigia atmosphere, - while still quiet at night! Enjoyable room decoration, very attentive - even for welcome gift - host allowed early check-in (start of December 2022 in lovely Syracuse was the best season :). I thought the apartment has no window, - it turned out to be wrong :)

There are small signs calling for better plastering - if you're distracted from walls decoration. I would say it's much less than most Syracuse palaces (in Mediterranean climate).
