Poor water pressure in shower It will be more efficient to send complete instruction to get in to the apartment / terrace and kitchen in the morning, on the day of check-in

It was clean and in a great location. The fourth floor was the room which had a comfy bed, big shower, good working A/C, and a coffee maker. The fifth floor had a mini kitchen and the balcony with the most gorgeous view of the ocean, city, and even Mt. Etna in the distance.

Just be prepared for many stairs and no elevator. This was an excellent way to continue to get exercise while on vacation :)

Amazing room with bacony AND rooftop terrace! Very close to everything in Ortigia but still really calm. The room was spacious and clean as well. Can definitely recommend this place.

One tiny recommendation: there is no wine opener in the kitchen, which made it a bit tricky to open our wine to drink it on the balcony while enjoying the nice views of Ortigia :)

The apartment is very beautiful, it has a nice rooftop terrace with amazing views. The host is super nice and even let us do early check in.

Everything was great

Lovely apartment in a great location, down a quiet side street, nice private terrace (it's in the name!), wonderful views, comfy bed, quiet at night.

The steps!! But you get used to them and I knew that when we booked. We had a large suitcase, I'm glad it was the only suitcase! Water pressure a bit hit and miss for showering.

The appartment is absolutely amazing. It is very welcoming and filled with charm, with a delightful interior design. I enjoyed deeply and admired the touch of art in every room. The decorations are more than beautiful: the statues over the amazing and very comfortable bed, the splendid paintings with antique frames, the furniture, the tiles in the bathrooms, the old mirror, the stylish old phone which serves as a night lamp, etc. Every object is very well placed and tells a story. Also, there is a big flat smart tv on the wall, with access to every kind of entertainment, a modern coffee machine with tasteful coffee capsules, a big fridge, a nice balcony wih table and chairs. And then, on the next floor, there is a little kitchen equipped with everything you need, which opens to an amazing panoramic terrasse with sea view, where you also have everything you need to relax. This is like the cherry on the cake. Congratulations to the owner for this little paradise and his fine artistic taste. I will never forget this place, it will remain imprinted in my memory !

The view from the terrace of the sea and Siracusa was wonderful. The city view from the balcony was great. Nice location within easy walking distance of all of the sights and restaurant offerings on Ortigia. Access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other options.

It was 90+ stair steps to the apartment plus another 20+ steps up to the terrace. The "kitchen" is located just off of the terrace on the floor above the apartment, where the refrigerator is located. This is a great apartment, balcony, and terrace when the weather is good/great. It would not be good if the weather were bad--no sitting/relaxation area in the apartment other than lying on the bed. And, similar to many other rental properties and businesses, no toilet paper in the toilet.

Enjoyed the cool sea breeze in the late afternoon and dinning in the evening on the terrace.

Did not know about kitchen being on different floor, but we worked with this. Fridge really needs to be a bigger if you are storing food for cooking.
