La Vanedda apartment

Très bonne situation, proche du marché et des attractions de la ville et pourtant au calme. La petite terrasse est très agréable. La literie très confortable. De passage pour 1 nuit , Check in et Check out très facile

L’espace cuisine et la salle de douche est très réduit

An excellent location, right on the island of Ortiga, slap bang on the edge of the wonderful, crazy, enchanting town of Siracusa. The apartment was lovely - though a little quirky. The bedroom is on the bottom floor, then upstairs to a small kitchen area, well appointed bathroom and a lovely (totally private!) terrace. Also a small utility room with a washing machine!!! (Very useful towards the end of our holiday...) Within 250m there's the sea, great restaurants, a street market, bars and quality shopping - we were even able to park almost directly outside (and for free too!). All in all it's a great place to base yourself.

The flooring is all marble and is lovely - but treacherous if wet and the stairs are steep...

A nossa anfitriã foi extremamente gentil e prestativa desde o início da reserva, o apartamento está muito bem localizado e ainda permite noites de paz e descanso. Ainda nos deixou de brinde água mineral, café e biscoitos, o que agrada muito a quem chega extremamente cansado de viagens longas. Também nos deixou um Wi-Fi gratuito, o que fez grande diferença quando chovia e não pudemos sair.

Não é culpa da acomodação em si, mas as vezes o cheiro do esgoto sobe pelo ralo (algo que é comum nas instalações antigas como as de Ortigia); é necessário dormir com a porta do sanitário fechada.

Strengths: excellent location near market and a vibrant downtown; great host who is very attentive to your needs; pretty good parking, on street for free or at a nearby parkade; washing machine; great value for the price. Weaknesses: a balcony with privacy but no view, shuttered in by bamboo fencing; some glitches, like an inch rise to the bathroom floor I keep stubbing my toe on (it should at least be marked some way); the door handle to the bathroom kept falling off and didn’t work (I’m sure it got fixed by now); a tiny kitchen. For the price, you’re going to have glitches but I would still rate La Vanedda as good value for the money.

A very clean, comfortable apartment. There was good communication between ourselves and the owner before and during our stay. Very much appreciated the welcome treats provided. The apartment was in a very good location.

De ligging met gratis parkeermogelijkheid in een fantastische stad. Het contact met de eigenaar.

Ontbijtkommen ontbraken, we hebben het wel kunnen oplossen met borden.

L'accueil de Coline est parfait, tout comme l'appartement qu'elle met à disposition. Cet appartement, d'une propreté incomparable, est sur 2 étages. Et que dire de cette petite terrasse magnifique. La situation géographique de la Vanedda est parfaite, très proche du marché de Syracuse et du Temple d'Apollon.

Absolument rien.

The location of the apartment was just in the heart of Syracusa. The owner dear Coline was very helpful and so kind. We stayed just for a night but everything was perfect. She has shared super suggestions for Syracusa, I definitely suggest this accomodation.
