My host Christine helped us a lot. He provided all the facilities at check in and check out and thanks to her, our trip to palermo was more enjoyable. The house was clean and the furniture was sufficient. The location is very close to all historical places and the train station. We thank her for the gifts he gave us when we entered the house. I definitely recommend this house.

The people living on the street where the house is located are a little different. You may be uncomfortable, but there is no security problem

This location was about a 5 minutes walk from the main train station. This proved to be helpful, as we took a day trip to Cefalu and a train ride to the Notarbortolo station to pick up our rental car from Europcar on our last day. The apartment is at the south end of a wonderful pedestrian only street of via Maqueda. It is a happening place! We enjoyed walking this street morning and night, from restaurants and shopping, to tourist attractions. I thought our location was great! (Palermo seems a bit rough and dirty, but I never felt unsafe). The apartment itself was beautiful. The pictures provided by the owner show the decor and accommodations very well. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. You enter into a nice sized sitting room, then find a hallway with 2 bathrooms (all three have shower, etc). There is a bedroom off the kitchen (nice, large, with 2 balconies). The 2nd bedroom is down the hall (a large room with balcony and bathroom in the hall way). The 3rd bedroom is at the end of the hallway with its' own bathroom, (also washing machine,) and own balcony). Bring ear plugs if you aren't used to street noise. People stay up late here, garbage collection and street sweepers at night, etc. I slept right through it with ear plugs, but others might not. Communication with the host was easy, thru WhatsApp. She met us at the apartment with the keys, showed us how to use the coffee machine and laundry washer.

The WiFi in the rooms was spotty. Great connection in the kitchen, but not so great in the bedroom. I never mentioned it to the owner.

Very clean and spacious apartment. We had three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also a nice pint size washer. The host was nice enough to transport us from the train station which really was not really necessary. We were not familiar with the location. The kitchen area is a nice size for 5-6 people to gather. Close to the train station and a lot of activities. There are stores located feet away. Great location!!

Elevators are really tiny (2-3 people max) If you have large luggage remove a person. However, you can get exercise by using the stairways. Otherwise great accommodations!

Palazzo Ardizzone is a spectacular apartment. We spent a long time looking for something bright, spacious and stylish in Palermo and this really stood out. Happy to say, it truly delivered: 3 huge bedrooms each with a little balcony, with 3 spotless bathrooms, a well-equipped and immaculate modern kitchen, all furnished beautifully with high ceilings and what ceilings they are too: so beautiful. Christine was the best host - friendly and patient on arrival when our flight was late, and especially helpful to us in ensuring we paid the local parking tariffs (which were very cheap and you can park on the street right outside). We were even touched to receive a little gift. The location is brilliant: a moment from the station, but also a very short walk to all the fun and history of the city. Best apartment we've ever booked in Italy. Highly recommended as your base for a great stay in Palermo. Thanks so much, Christine.

Lively atmosphere outside at night is an authentic Palermo urban experience. Parking is occasionally an adventure.
