Penthouse Five - The Beautiful 3Br En-suite Apt

Very spacious apartment. Smooth check in and check out. Georgina and Sarah were brilliant. Easy to reach and always willing to assist. Security was also brilliant.

Lift to 7th floor. Large master bedroom. 2 small rooms with 3.5feet bed. Too small for 2 person. Swimming pool. Guarded apartment. Supervisor assisted us in transportation. Gas available to cook. Teabags, sugar, little oil, salt, spice available in kitchen. Not enough cups or bowls. Microwave, stove, kettle available. Tuk tuk available from dropping off housekeepers in morning on weekends. Large sitting and dining room. Patio. Went end month of May. Quiet area. Balcony View. Clean.

No hot water for daily showers. Weak morning water plumbing system for toilets to flush. Kitchen cooking utensils were broken. Located in Chunda near slum area. They have another in Nyaly, posh area. No electricity on Sat. Require Uber for group of 6. Broken side table. Mid bathroom water drainage problem. Lots of flies. Mombasa is hot daytime. Bedbugs. Not well kept.

The location of penthouse 5 is so strategic and convenient to access from anywhere around mombasa.

Nothing really that I didn’t like about the house but I’d recommend the host to put up mosquito-nets.

10/10 – A Perfect Seaside Escape We had a truly exceptional stay. The space was spotless, well-serviced, and impressively spacious. The sea view was simply stunning, especially in the evenings when the moon shone beautifully against the water, creating a calm, magical atmosphere. What made our stay even more memorable was the host’s genuine warmth and kindness. They were thoughtful, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. It’s rare to find a place that offers both comfort and heartfelt hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape by the sea.

The location is amazing, you can see the ocean from the balcony, it is beautiful. Also getting around Mombasa was very easy and convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, they had everything we needed. Everyone from the security guard to the service staff was friendly and accommodating. The host was special, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth experience.

The booking process was flawless through booking. com. The owner Winnie, the caretaker Georgina ensures we were well accommodated and checked on us. The chef Consolata was linked with us through the owner. We enjoyed nicely prepared costal dishes. Purity adjusted to our schedule and cleaning was done to suit our schedule. Spacious, clean apartment with a great ocean view. Swimming pool clean and manned by an expert swimmer (Raymond). Worth the value.

It’s located in a super quiet and calm area, not too far from town. The breeze and view is great and swimming pool makes the heat bearable. It’s a very spacious apartment and all essentials are present and working.

The apartment and building is aging and some maintainance would be good.

Georgina is a lovely host and helped us checking in, welcoming us in person and even organised a transfer for us! Thank you very much! The appartment is clean and does its job. It's in a safe complex and you have a nice view as you are staying in an upper floor of the building. The value for money is unbeatable! Strong Wi-Fi and warm water were available too!

Given the climatic circumstances, it would have been great to have a mosquito net for the beds. In general the cleaning could be improved.
