Belvedere Apartment

I stayed in this apartment with my wife and daughter for 2 nights and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a stay on Amalfi coast with a stunning view. Francesco is an amazing host. Always responsive and provides local suggestions and coordinates well for check-in. I drove a rental car (a full size car) and was worried about stopping it on the main road to unload the luggage. The car doesn't go all the way up to the apartment. It does however go within in a couple of minutes of walking distance. Francesco had arranged a couple of his folks to be present near the road before I arrived. They helped me unload the luggage and even helped take the luggage up the hilly road to the apartment. Francesco also had the parking person arrive to the spot within a few minutes of when I arrived. The valet parking was 40 euros per night (high prices during new year time). The apartment itself was clean and spacious. The views were superb. The bus stop is very close to the apartment and I used it to go to Positano. On the day of checkout, the parking person arrived at the time we agreed upon and I had a super smooth check-out.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Francesco’s Apartment (Belvedere Apartment Amalfi). It is extremely comfortable with stunning views from balcony which feel like living in a Fairytale. The Apartment is well equipped and lots of extras were included, in fact everything that you may need during your stay. Great hospitality from Francesco and Family, swift responding with any enquiries and recommendations we need. We are glad we had booked this Apartment 15 months in advance so we won’t missed this fabulous apartment. We wish we could stayed longer but this 2 days are unforgettable for life. Book it now, no brainer!

the views were spectacular

to many stairs to carry suitcases up and also just going to and from the apartment. oven and washing machine did not work and we were only provided with 1 key between 5 of us.

Location was perfect!! Some people mention the hike up to the apartment. Yes, it is a climb but if you are fit and able and enjoy walking and climbing, this place is for you!! My husband and I enjoyed our walks into town and back each day/night. We also walked to Atrani (where Equalizer 3 was filmed!) We also hiked from Atrani to Ravello. Took an hour and was all uphill but worth it. And no, we did not walk back to Amalfi. We took a taxi! 😂

The view is amazing, very clean and has everything you need! Hosts are lovely. Ten minute walk. Quiet building. Easily accessible to all other towns on the coast.

Not really a dislike but there is a lot of stairs to get to the main plaza but that is everywhere on the coast. We really enjoyed our stay it was fantastic! The beds were a little hard and the shower didn't drain well but that would not stop me from staying here again.

The broken /chipped/ loose tiles too scared to walk on the tiles , the hot water in the shower wasn’t working but eventually got told you have to put the kitchen sink tap on to get hot water , washing machine was not working , not to mention the stairs to get to the accommodation

The apartment does have a magnificent view, as shown in the photos. There wouldn't be many other apartments with such a great view for the price we paid.. It is spacious and clean. It's not modern, so the facilities are commensurate with older buildings. Potential guests need to be aware that there are many steps to climb before reaching the apartment, and then 2 flights to the door. Should you have your own transport, it may be easier to get there, but we can't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues. The location is excellent. It's close to the main precinct of Amalfi. Our hosts gave us good instructions for entry, and generously allowed us to check in early. We enjoyed our 3 day visit to Amalfi.
