The house was beautiful and on a great location 10 mins away from the city centre the apartment is big and the balcony has an amazing view Although you need to take in advance that amalfi is on a lot of cliffs so there are a lot of hills and many stairs to go up

The property does not match the listing description specifically pertaining to location. The unit is located way further than a 10 minute walk and you have to walk a highway with huge buses and flying cars to get downtown. It is so dangerous I almost got hit by one because it is so dark no one can see you. The trek up a very steep mountain. It is not flat. This should be very clear in listing description because there are people like myself who are compromised physically and cannot make the trip up. It is way too steep and way too far. The listing does not accurately represent the distance and the dangers of this walk. 2. The property is in very poor shape. Cracked tiles everywhere. Crack in window which I mentioned to owner so we don’t get blamed. Everything is so old and dingy. I’m not comfortable touching or drinking out of anything due to the poor shape and condition. The washing machine is also broken and listing does not specify that there is no AC in one of the bedrooms. The only thing you can sincerely enjoy is the view. I spoke thoroughly with the owner and his response to me is “what do you want from me?” He in no way tried to be helpful and come by to see if he could help or remedy any of our issues

It's in Amalfi - what's not to like? The host was a great communicator, leading up to and during our stay. Thanks, Francesco! Made it so much easier. The apartment was spacious, clean, bright, well appointed (washing machine very handy!). The views from the apartment were stunning, overlooking the port at Amalfi. Parking was available in a private garage, albeit for a premium price (but then again, it is Amalfi!

While the location was fabulous, there is a very steep climb up to the apartment, followed by internal steps up to the second floor. If you have mobility issues (eg difficulty walking, knees, joints, etc), this may not be the right apartment for you. Other than that, everything was fabulous!

The view was amazing! Very clean apartment. Plenty of towels and shower was excellent! It was good to have a TV in bedroom that had Netflix, Prime etc. Lovely to fall asleep to a film in bed after a hectic day!! Host was helpful. Great location just minutes away from centre....

Not a lot to dislike. A few small things ..would have liked some water in fridge on arrival. The bedroom pillows were very flat and only one of them and the mattress protector was quite noisy and not best quality so sleeping for me could have been better. Husband slept very well though!!

Excellent view. Secure location.

It would have been much improved if we had enough glasses / bowls / pots / etc. and basics such as salt / pepper / olive oil.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and the views spectacular.

Be prepared to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. dish soap, bags for waste and recycling,and some basic groceries.
