Casa Galliera

The location is pretty good, close to the train station and 10 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. There are a few cafe nearby, a pizzeria right next to it and a nice Asian Restaurant. The building was a bit old, but hey it's Centro Storico for a reason :) It was pretty quiet at nights, no noise from cars or people down the streets. It could do with some touch ups, but in general pretty good accommodation.

Good location and easy to find. Lots of things nearby. A good amount of space to accommodate 4-5 people.

The beds weren’t comfortable unfortunately. One of the beds in the bedroom was broken in the middle which we couldn’t unfortunately use. The bathrooms could’ve been better with cleaner shower cubicles and shower heads as the water coming out wasn’t that good with blocked holes. The bathroom light in one of the bedrooms was also not working properly and was very dim which caused further problems when trying to shower or use the bathroom day to day. The balcony was nice but unfortunately had no lights outside so this wasn’t usable in the evenings.

Good location near to the train and bus stations. Nice area of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Two main bedrooms were fine, both with en-suites.

Seriously disappointed in the accommodation given the price paid for four nights stay (1,700Eu). Paid less for the same length of stay in a significantly better apartment in Florence prior to arriving here. Had to chase to get access arrangements, no communication prior to arriving. If using the sofa bed then don't expect to be able to do anything in the kitchen area, you won't be able to swing a cat. Kitchen was lacking in facilities, no toaster, no oven, one wine glass! Tiny fridge and freezer. Place could do with decoration in many areas . . . oh and the noise on an evening into the early hours from the upstairs apartment and students coming and going was bordering on the ridiculous at times, extremely annoying.

It was a great place, large and clean rooms and all the beds were very comfortable! The place was very warm and it had hot water all the time! Near the main square of bologna and about 10 minutes from train and bus station!

Wifi wasn't working! There were only 2 soaps and 2 little bottles of shampoo-shower gel (it was the same which was not a problem but the quantity was a problem). The card for the garbage wasn't working !

Very clean, centrally located

A bit difficult to throw out the trash because the card (which opened the trash-bins) did not work. The double bed was actually made up of two one-person mattresses which unfortunately “floated” away from each other and were not even the same thickness.

Very good location, close to the center, all sights can be accessed on foot. Shops, restaurants were also very close. The rooms are well separated, each with a nice bathroom.

The beds were uncomfortable, the neighbours were noisy. We did not get an invoice after repeated request. Comfortable for 4, but I would not suggest it for 6 persons.
