Appartamento delle Erbe

The location is fantastic and in general the apartment was perfect.

One of the living room windows doesn't have mosquito netting on it and their is no air conditioning in this room. For some reason the electrical sockets stopped working on the last night which meant I woke up with a dead phone which wasn't great for the journey home. Also, we could find any cutlery. I am sure it was there but it wasn't in an obvious place....however we ate out all the time so it wasn't really a problem.

Homely feel in a central location.

Lugging suitcases up 3 flights of stairs in a heatwave! That's hard. Small bathroom with a trip hazard, no bathmat, and no soap for the handbasin.

Good location and everything you need for a nice holiday

Air conditioning could have been a little bit more powerful, but it was ok.

Location was great for a short stay and it was quiet for such a central location, with lots of shops and cafes nearby. The host‘s friend was very helpful in helping us access the key when the code didn’t work and she answered all our questions very quickly.

The mattress was pretty hard, the pillows uncomfortable, there was a lot of clutter and too many items of furniture in the room and it felt like the host had left all their unwanted items in the flat. It should also have been cleaner (many unseen areas, such as behind the bed, were very dusty and dirty and cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling). In addition, the shower head leaked badly and even after waiting for 10 minutes, the water was only ever lukewarm. Actually, the pictures depicted on the site gave us the impression that we would have a maisonette apartment with a roof top terrace. It was very misleading and should have been clearer. To top it all, we had awful problems with mosquitoes in the apartment which kept us awake at night, even though we’d been careful about not having doors open when lights were on etc.
