Old-New Apartment in Central Kaunas

The apartment was well decorated, fully furnished, and had everything I needed for my stay. I cooked most evenings and didn't find myself lacking any kitchen equipment. There was even a garlic crusher, which is surprisingly rare in holiday accommodation. The host was understanding, responsive, and very helpful throughout my stay. She kindly arranged a slightly later checkout when I requested it and also helped me find somewhere in Kaunas to store my belongings afterwards. When I raised concerns about accommodation hygiene upon arrival, she was proactive in trying to resolve the issues. Overall, the apartment itself was lovely and clearly had a lot of thought put into it. However, for me, cleanliness and hygiene are more important than appearance. While I appreciated the accommodation and the host's efforts, the hygiene concerns would prevent me from choosing to stay here again. I would personally prioritise a cleaner property over one that is simply attractive and well equipped.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant dust issue throughout the apartment. On arrival, there was a noticeable layer of dust on most surfaces. I cleaned what I could, but the dust smell and irritation to my nose persisted, as the dust appeared to be embedded in the soft furnishings as well. The host was very helpful and genuinely tried to resolve the issue. She offered to take down, wash, and rehang all of the curtains, which made some difference, and also offered to clean the sofa. However, as I had just had an operation, I was concerned about disturbing more dust because I wouldn't physically be able to clean again during my recovery. In the end, I covered the sofa instead. I found the dust and lingering smell difficult to live with. I often avoided using the heating because it seemed to circulate the dust, which left me feeling cold for much of my stay. Despite cleaning, airing out the apartment, and using candles and room sprays, the smell improved slightly but somewhat remained. By the third day, I developed cold-like symptoms, including nasal irritation and congestion, which added another challenge while recovering from my operation. While I appreciate the host's efforts to help, the cleanliness issues had a significant impact on my overall comfort and experience.

Loved the place. Hopefully will stay here again next time in Kaunas

4th floor, no lift

Very nicely designed apartment. Had all amenities you could need. Location couldn't have been better, 2 minutes to the main street.

Perfect location. Homely with everything you need and clean.

Buena ubicación, apartamento tal cual como en las fotos, muy cálido muy luminoso muy cómodo con todo necesario, bien diseñado.

Me faltó que hubiera más programas en la tele solo se podía ver Netflix, y que la cortina de la ducha mientras te duchabas se pegaba a tu cuerpo, detalles pequeños, siempre para mejorar

Būtent šiame bute, iki renovacijos, studijų metais gyvenau daugiau nei 6 metus. Net yra likę mūsų paliktų daiktų iš tų dienų. Tai man čia nuostabiausia vieta Kaune, be jokių trūkumų. Apsistoju jau antrą kartą ir tikrai dar sugrįšiu ir sugrįšiu.

Muy bien decorado, cómodo, bonito y bien ubicado. Luminoso, silencioso y con mucha luz.
