Residential home in Riga near Agenskalna Quarter

Location was totally great, as we had the specific need about the location. At the same time, it was easy o get both to the city centre and to Jurmala to enjoy some beach walk .)c x

Easy check inn, good location.

Mold on the bathroom walls due to the closed space without a ventilation window. The smell was felt throughout the apartment. The existing ventilation is not sufficient. For people with allergies, this can be a big problem. The window in the living room and bedroom was without bars or mosquito nets, although the apartment is on the ground floor, and anyone can enter through the window. Maybe in the future these problems will be solved. Onother thing I didn't like: I was asked to pay the tourist fee in a privat account, which is by the way included in the initial price, confirmed also by booking.com. So in the end, this issues was solved by silence. Otherwise, perfectly equipped kitchen, good location, and super nice host.

Mit den notwendigsten Dingen ausgestattetes, recht geräumiges Apartment. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, Bus und Trollybus fahren in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft.

Die Möbel waren bereits abgewohnt, die Küche nur mit dem Notwendigsten ausgestattet. Trotz Lage in einer Nebenstrasse war der Verkehrslärm sehr laut. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schlecht: - eine Woche vor Mietbeginn musste ich noch einen „Mietvertrag“ ausfüllen, u.a. mit der Regelung, dass ich im Streitfall alle Anwaltskosten zu tragen hätte - nach dem Ausfall des Warmwassers konnte uns der Vermieter weder Auskunft geben, wie lange der Ausfall dauern werde, noch wusste er, dass Wartungsarbeiten an der Fernwärme vor dem Haus stattfanden - der Vermieter hat uns genötigt, die City Tax direkt zu überweisen, obwohl diese bereits im Booking-Preis enthalten sind; zudem hat er sich auf Nachfrage bzw. Rückforderung der City Tax nicht mehr bei uns gemeldet - ein Grossteil der Bilder sind in einem anderen als dem an uns vermieteten Apartment entstanden

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very well furnished - everything I needed was there. The small kitchen was convenient and fully equipped, the bed and bathroom were cozy and comfortable. The location is excellent, easy to reach the city centre by public transport, yet the neighbourhood is peaceful and relaxing. Key collection was simple and well explained. Thank you Dmitrijs & Oksana! When I return to Riga, I will definitely book here again.
