"Fulfilling."

It was very homey, it had a smoking area and washing machines on the fourth floor, the location is also amazing and close to a beautiful temple!

No towels and detergent but the working lady gave us an extra hand towel which helped a ton and solved the towel problem.

"Get your money’s worth in this clean apartment"

It was worth the money I paid. Clean and had the basic equipment. AC was definetly a plus.

The shower was a bit small for a westener.

The owner was very kind, we organised check-in in the morning beforehand, since we knew we would be arriving after 8pm. He was very friendly and spoke a little bit of English, but everything is in a booklet in English which made it easy.

The gentleman who did my check in speaks good English and made the operation smooth and easy. The location is around 10 mins by walking to Kyoto station in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. Overall for the price paid is fair for what the accommodation offers, there is enough space for 1 to 2 people including luggages.

The mattress was hard and very uncomfortable, same for the pillows. The bathtub is very small, it is so difficult to shower. No lift in the building, so if you travel with heavy luggage please be careful or ask at least to be allocated on the second floor. There is not a place to leave your luggage before or after check in, but plenty of lockers in Kyoto Station if you have an hand luggage size. Also there is not any reception at any time of the day.
