Akira Peak House Kinugawa

This property is one of the better-value ones (large space, free parking), although it's a distance from Toshugo Shrine and even further from Lake Chuzenji. The caretaker spoke only Japanese but we got by using Google Translate. We stayed at the ground floor unit and didn't have to lug our luggage up the stairs.

The apartment has a kitchen, a washing machine and a dryer. I didn't find laundry detergent, washed my laundry at a nearby laundromat and used the dryer in the apartment. There was some clutter but quite tolerable.

The caretaker did not speak English, making communication difficult.

Entire accommodation at an unbeatable price in the area, with a parking space. The accommodation has everything you need in terms of equipment. The owner took the time to explain to us the activities to do nearby and received us an hour after check-in time, which we appreciated. The house is pretty and next to the town of Nikko, there is a Lawson within walking distance, we recommend you come and stay here.

The very present smell of cigarettes in the accommodation, and the cleaning was not perfect, but that did not prevent us from having a very good stay.

The location is perfect and the house is cosy and giving a filling of home , games, books and a lot of staff that make you want to stay. Also there s a foot bath just infront of the hoatel ,so its perfect.

Very friendly manager to greet guests. Airbnb feeling hotel. Kitchen is included. There are kitchen area, multipurpose room and sleeping room. Very spacious. Laundry washing machine was included.

Nice traditional house. Friendly owner who made us feel at home. Close to Nikko attractions. We drove.
