CASA FISCARDI

Spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location. The roof terrace was lovely for a picnic dinner. We recommend the bakery opposite for a pasticiotto and caffe leccese in the mornings.

We had a lovely stay in Casa Fiscardi. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Vittoria is a great host ! Normally I do not really follow recommendations but I am happy we did. She knows some amazing restaurants and we had delicious food. The place is spacious, clean, comfortable and super well located in the old city center of Bari. I highly recommend this place.

Appartement très bien situé, dans une petite ruelle entre la vieille ville et la nouvelle avec de nombreux commerces et bars - restaurants à proximité. Logement très propre et fonctionnel et plutôt bien équipé. La terrasse tout en haut est partagée entre les locataires mais vaut la peine de monter les escaliers :) Pas de contact avec la propriétaire qui n'a pas répondu à nos WhatsApp mais au final sans désagrément puisque nous nous sommes débrouillés et tout était clair pour notre arrivée.

Manque un coin repas, disponible une fois la table et les chaises pliantes mise à disposition installées. Le lit double est un peu petit pour 2 et le lit en mezzanine est accessible par des escaliers un peu raides.

We loved the location and the helpful staff. The size of the apartment was great for 2 people and we really loved the terrace. The location was great on the edge of the old and new towns, and an easy 20 minute walk to the train station.

There were a few stairs but really managable for two 60 something women and our hosts helped lug the cases up initially. Would have loved a washing machine but oh well.

The location would have been difficult to find by ourselves so we were really pleased to be met by the owner and her cousin in the nearby square. They were very informative and very helpful, with great restaurant recommendations. A really interesting place to stay. The apartment was great. Cool with high ceilings and nicely furnished.

The location was perfect in Bari Vecchia just steps from my favourite restaurant La Cecchina and convenient for work. The apartment is traditional, very well equipped and delightfully cool. It has air con but we didn’t need it. The roof terrace is utterly glorious, with just enough shade to have lunch up there and beautiful in the evenings.

We loved it, but some guests may need to be aware that the mezzanine has a very low barrier and no stair rail.

excellent location in the very center

Perfect location! Centre of Old Town, next to the biggest square, but still quiet. You can feel the old times and the life of local people together. We were every parts of the old town and I think this was the best choice for us. The restaurant on the opposite side of the square is great choice for breakfast. The roof top terrace is great for relaxing. The host, Vittoria is very communicative with good english, very helpful and give a lot of great information and historical view about the place. The flat is big for two person, big living room with kichen, good bed. Towels, shapoo, coffee, everything.
