CASA FISCARDI

Location was fantastic, a lot of activity in the Piazza. Lots of activity from 7pm and on through the night I Until very late as it was summer holidays. We loved watching locals and tourists alke interacting. A very good vibe. All items required in a self contained unit were supplied. We ate breakfast in and cooked our own lunch and dinner with local produce, but mostly ate out. Perfect balance when you are ready to chill out.

The steps are something which need to be considered before staying here. We were fine, but if you were unstable on your feet you would need to take them very slow. This would not deter us.

Our apartment was very comfortable for the 7 days we were there and was in a very centrally located area to the centre and the sea of the old town of Bari. We had access to a terrace, which we used daily. Vittorio greeted us after we arrived with 2 traditional pastries of Bari, which were divine. She provided some great suggestions regarding us visiting the area of Puglia and checked in on us during our stay to ensure all was well. Grazie Vittorio🙏😁

Unfortunately, to get any groceries or launder our clothes, we had to walk nearly 1km back into the newer part of town. Not having a washing machine is a bit of a drawback when on a long trip, though we did know when we booked.

Vittoria was great and met us for arrival, the room is down a small passageway, but is ideally situated on Piazza Mercantile. The room was spotless and the bed comfy, not rock hard like many Italian beds. The terrace is good. You are surrounded by bars and restaurants and there is a great breakfast place called Colibri on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, that serves 100% Gluten Free products that were beautiful even to someone not GF. The Old City is safe, just use common sense. Would definitely recommend Casa Fiscardi.

Great location on quiet alley but so near all the bars and restaurants. Very quiet. 12min walk to train station but no.2 or no.4 bus will get u there. Download the app and the bus only costs €1 per journey. Best meal had at Del Barese in square gorgeous stuffed mussels and the lamb was amazing. Short walk to shopping area. Breakfast on rooftop was lovely

The space is small but perfect

Great location just 2 minutes from piazza mercantile Spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Lovely roof terrace Very clean

Only small thing was aircon did not seem too go cold enough but that could have been user error

Location was great, tiny quiet street and still in a very vivid historical centre. The bed was amazing, I slept so well!!! And all was clean and stylish and convenient;)

In the building there are more apartments to rent that i didnt realize. So the photos are mixture of all of them. our apartment on the first floor was quite dark. The terrace is on the roof, 3rd floor, its shared, and I missed some clothes drying racks, for swimsuit, towels… There is no balcony, so it needs to be up there…

Very comfortable clean apartment in a great location. Vittoria is very kind and welcoming. Gave suggestions of really great local restaurants.

The best part of this property was its location, we were in the middle of the beautiful old town, by Piazza Mercantile, however the property was set back in alleyway, so it was nice and quiet. Amazing roof top, lots of place to relax after a day out exploring.

Our apartment was a little on the small size, but didn't bother us, as we were hardly there.
