Alovera inn weligama

I had an amazing time at Alovera Inn in Weligama! The house was clean, cozy, and welcoming. There’s a small kitchen where you can cook and a fridge to store your food—perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The room had air conditioning and hot water, making my stay even more comfortable. The highlight, however, was the incredibly kind owner. They were so helpful and always open for a chat, which made my experience truly unique. Their taxi service to Colombo at 1 AM was perfectly arranged, and they even offered me a late check-out free of charge, which I deeply appreciated. The surroundings are lush and green, with shops nearby. The Weligama train station is just a 10-minute walk, while cafes, supermarkets, and the surfing beach are all within 5-10 minutes’ walking distance. All in all, it was an exceptional stay, and I will definitely return. Thank you again for your outstanding hospitality!

The host is very nice He changed my room for a suitable one however it took time because he was off the property

Room 104 was bed experience of living Mold on the walls and wetness in the room Room 105 was match better however at that middle of the night drunk and loudly people make noise and i had no one to complain for those people used the property

The location is perfect, at walking distance from surfing schools. The room was very clean and, more importantly, the hosts were fantastic! They are very welcoming and we're incredibly kind to us bringing us the keys we forgot in the apartment❤️

Great value accomodation in a good location. The room was clean, all the facilities such as fridge, wifi and AC worked perfectly. The beach and main town area are just a 10 minute walk away. The owners are super kind and easy to deal with. Would recommend!

Perfect place to stay. Short walk from the beach. Fully kitted out apartment with washing machine, fridge and gas stove. I booked one night and ended up staying almost a week because it is so comfortable.

It was a well sized studio room with a desk and decent wifi. Some kitchen items to prepare quick meals. Practical place for the budget, nice hosts. Walking to the beach or food city supermarket was no problem.

It’s close to railway line, and you feel the train in the room. Keep your expectations low, it’s not as quiet or western as in the prev reviews. Still I booked 3 nights and stayed 5, so not bad.

Everything was great

Very clean and easy to move into - felt very western and was appreciated! Super nice owners who helped us out and made sure everything was good and we were happy! They even let us stay an extra hour! Will definitely stay again and recommend 💯!

Wonderful place! Enjoyed staying there a lot and Good Wi-Fi. Quite area. Around 10 min walk to the beach,Very good place

The room was exquisite, clean and well kept , will definitely be my go-to resort if I'm visiting Weilgama again.( especially wifi speed was a very good )
