Saveen View Ella

We stayed here last minute and boy was it a treat! We rescued a kitten from a temple, had no idea what to do with her but after a little intro, the hosts daughter, Isha quickly fell in love with her and decided to keep her. The rooms were beautiful and the temperature was cool due to being in the mountains. The breakfast was amazing and most importantly the people!! Our hosts are incredible human beings. If your in Ella, this is a must stay!

Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful & peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of Ella (but only a 20 min (steep) walk into town). Ramya and her family went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was even made a packed lunch for my onward train journey to Colombo. Thank you

We have been travelling for 6 weeks and Ramya and her husband have been the nicest hosts. They always went out of their way to help us and even took us to see the local festival. The location is truly beautiful… Every day you have the best view with your breakfast and it feels like you live in the jungle. Very easy to get to ella city using the shortcut down the hill(stairs, took us around 20mins). I would recommend staying here to everyone!

This place was great. The host was exceptionally helpful and took care of anything that we needed. The hotel room was fine, it is exactly what you would expect for the price. No frills, nothing fancy. But a comfortable bed and warm shower. It served our family of 5 well. The breakfast was good, some slight variations every day.

One bedroom was a bit smelly

The room was clean and organised with a lovely view and private terrace. No air conditioning but a fan was provided and that was enough as the climate is a little colder in Ella. Staff where lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was provided and host was very lovely to make it at different times and also custom to what you wished, very caring and hospitable people

Quite far away from town- although it is only 1.4 kilometres this is all up a steep hill with the last bit being very bumpy and off road like. Impossible to be picked up so you either have to walk or use their taxi service. There were also a few dogs around the property which can be frightening, especially in the dark, but they were pretty harmless and the hosts were happy to shoo them!

Everything was simply amazing!!!! Can't recommend it enough! The room is cozy, the balcony is lovely and has AMAZING views! Location was perfect for us - its situated a bit outside of town and surrounded by beautiful nature, but you can easily walk or tuk tuk to town. Very idyllic and relaxing! But most of all, the hosts are so kind and make you feel so welcome and at home! The food is DELICIOUS (ask for dinner)! They also arranged an amazing tuk tuk tour for us!! We were so sad to leave and hope to come again one day!! Many thanks for your hospitality!! 💕

If you love nature this is the perfect location. A very remote accomodation in the middle of the nature, away from the noise of Ella. The hosts are so nice and friendly, you have an excellent view.

The accommodation was located on a mountain and the view of nature was really nice. You only had to walk a few steps behind. We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and the very delicious dinner on the terrace. We were able to park our tuktuk on the property. At night you could see the stars shining brightly. In the surroundings there was a nice café with a wonderful view.

The road to the accommodation was a bit adventurous but also doable with the tuktuk.

Where do we even begin! Our favourite place that we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Such warm and welcoming hosts that truly look after you. We ended up extending our trip by 10 days as we loved it here so much. We could not of had a better experience. Delicious cooking and the views are amazing. The family that run the hotel make you feel so at home and are the loveliest people ever! Cannot reccomend enough. Thank you, we will be back one day!
