It was simply a wonderful apartment. The family owning the cottage was very kind and even picked us up in town and brought us to the train station by Tuktuk. We had delicious breakfast and dinner and the view from the room was simply stunning. I would highly recommend going to this place! :)

The owners were so very kind and helpful. A great husband and wife team with one of their daughters helping too. The property was quiet, positioned way out of town away from the throng of Ella’s night life and busy cafe’s. It was a relief to be met at Ella train station by the husband in his Tuk Tuk and taken to the homestay after a very long and cramped train journey. The walk would have been exhausting with luggage as all up hill. The view across the valley are beautiful especially at sunset & sunrise. The property was simple, clean and very comfortable.

It’s a ten minute tuktuk ride away from Ella town center, tugged away in the mountains. The owners were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and a lot. Bed is comfortable and the terrace has a great view.

The transport is a bit steep and bumpy, just be prepared for that :)

The owner of the homestay picked me up from the train station and prepared some snacks to welcome me. The room was clean and spacious. The next morning, I could directly see the sunrise and waterfall from the room's balcony. The breakfast prepared by the owner was abundant, and they kindly answered guests' questions.

Hospitality of the owners is beyond the scale. They are very helpful and kind. The hostess cooks delicious breakfast. The room is comfortable and has a beautiful view. Thank you for everything ❤️

Be prepared for very steep and sometimes bumpy access road. However our tuk tuk made it!

the view in the mountains with the sunrise right in front of the room is wonderful the homemade breakfast by the two very kind owners was the best we've had so far the owner came to pick us up from the train station in tuktuk and helped us rent a scooter for the stay and they found us a driver to take us to Tangalle for our departure we really recommend this place where we had a very nice stay in ella
