The location was great and very close to the sea

The apartment was not clean. There were cigarette butts on the balcony, and the chairs and surrounding area were dirty. The bedsheets also didn’t seem properly washed and had visible dirt marks. We asked for them to be changed, and although they initially promised to do so, they never did, even after two nights. They also offered a food delivery option, but it was very chaotic. On one occasion, they delivered the wrong dish, and overall there was no punctuality.

Worst Stay Ever in Sri Lanka I travel to Sri Lanka frequently and usually choose accommodations close to my husband’s family home for convenience. Unfortunately, our two-week stay at this property was a very poor decision and the worst accommodation experience I have had in Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, we were overcharged when the property converted our payment into local currency without prior explanation, which felt misleading. The hot water system was unreliable and lasted only about five minutes before turning cold, requiring us to turn the water off and on repeatedly to complete showers. There was also a significant ant infestation. Ants were present throughout the apartment, including the bathroom shower, sink, and kitchen floor. On several nights, we found 15–20 ants indoors despite maintaining a clean space. Although the beach view itself was acceptable, the surrounding environment severely affected our stay. Adjacent land next to the property is used for dumping and burning trash. The strong smell of burning plastic caused headaches and made it impossible to enjoy sitting near open windows. Trash collection was extremely poor. We were instructed to leave garbage bags outside our door, yet our trash remained there for four days in the hot climate, creating a very unpleasant odor. The Wi-Fi rarely worked and often had no internet connection. Contacting reception was difficult; after the first day, calls went unanswered for the remainder of our stay. Additionally, the hair dryer in the room did not work. We reported this on the first day, but it was never repaired during our entire 14-day stay, forcing us to find alternative solutions. The only consistently positive aspect was the air conditioning, which functioned well—sometimes making the apartment uncomfortably cold. Based on our experience, this property did not meet basic expectations for comfort, hygiene, or service.

Location was perfect and the atmosphere 🤍🫶

The WiFi was not working during our stay. Although the room had a smart TV, it wasn’t connected because the WiFi was down. We informed the staff, and one team member said he would come to check it, but no one ever followed up. As a result, we had to use our own mobile WiFi and laptop instead of the smart TV and the facilities provided.

It’s right next to the beach and ideal location for me.

WiFi was included but never connected. It was disappointing. .
