Hasara Oceanfront Apartments

Location was perfect. View was great

There is nothing to do with the property, but the tuk tuk guys in front of the property didn't let our pickme tuks come near the property for pick up so had to walk 200m to get into a tuk tuk which was less than half the price from what the guys in front charged. Then we soon realised that they had nothing against pickme cars coming for pick up. We started travelling in pickme cars so it was all good.

Spacious apartment, great views, good facilities and lovely hosts. Staff around the apartments building were always there to help. Easy to get tuk tuks to Galle Fort.

Would be good to have in description that apartment is across two floors with some bedrooms upstairs. This was great for us but might not work for everyone.

Location

I had to pay by cash .This is not acceptable. For booking through booking.com they should accept credit cards . The apartment was not too clean . They didn’t have soap which is a minimum requirement or a hairdryer .

We had a wonderful time at Hasara Ocean Apartments. Our three bedroom apartment was comfortable and well equipped for a long stay. Contemporary front rooms and the living area had a fantastic oceanfront view of the Indian Ocean and the palm fringed coast of Galle and its vicinity. The property is well managed and staff was very friendly and helpful. A great location for a vacation in Galle area.

Room was great, View was spectacular.

Very odd the "Hasara" thing as they just rent rooms from the Oceanfront building. When we arrived the keys need to be collected from a man who meets you not from the front desk. Apart from that all was fine. Location was away from the main area for restaurants so a tuck tuck trip needed to get to the fort area in Galle. This was very cheap and the drivers que up outside the appartments.
