Location. Easy access to all the sights and services. Loved that there was (local) family life all around! Responsive, caring host.

The apartment is spacious and bright. The balcony is lovely for relaxing. The accommodation is also located in a very quiet part of the citadel: the sound of the waves is the only noise heard after midnight. There's a convenience store at the ground floor. The apartment includes a kitchenette, which is good for longer stays because it's possible to cook more or less everything which doesn't require an oven. There's also a clothes rack on the balcony, which is Very useful when you come back from the beach, and a small fridge with refrigerator. The whole family is smiley and welcoming: considering how Montenegro coast has been devastated by 5-stars hotels and resorts, I would choose this kind of family run guest houses over porsh solutions... At least you support local businesses. There is a lovely restaurant next to the accommodation called Nautica: it's simple, has nice staff and terrace, and also cats. Speaking of food, the accomodation is in a walking distance from a family run bakery, Pekara Pelivan: try their burek and pastries, they are fantastic (and authentic). Go there at 8AM to have more choice. The apartment is also located to the northern part of the citadel, which is a museum you may visit, it must be fantastic (it's currently under restoration, but it's worth a visit just looking from outside).

Our room was supposed to have a bath: we discovered that the room with the bath was not available at our arrival... It's quite annoying to be told there's a change when you cannot practically choose anything different, I whished I was told before. There was some problems with the pipes indeed, because there was no pressure in the shower the first night. The room was ultraclean in general, but corners, gaps and cupboards haven't been cleaned so deeply. Finally, there is no parking at all: it's inside the citadel, where cars don't have access generally. There are public parkings outside the citadel, but I wouldn't suggest anyone to use them if you care about your car (there are way too many wild drivers and the traffic to get close to the city centre may be quite exhausting). If you want to feel the thrill, the closest parking is right next to the north entrance and it is 1€/hour, otherwise in Fourra, near Voli, it's 80cents/hour: you are supposed to buy a scretchcard or pay by phone. We didn't try them anyway, we preferred to walk 30 minutes and leave our car at the muslim cemetery: the parking is free and completely empty. In any case, keep it in mind if you're travelling by car: there is no parking next to the property. Also, I thought they accepted cards because they make the pre-payment, but they actually don't.

Perfect location in the heart of old town. The owners were fantastic, ready to help with everything and so nice 🙂 good size balcony with a nice view, highly efficient air conditioning (really amazing!) and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Our room was not very big, but big enough for two people. There was a kitchen unit with all basic equipment and most importantly the fridge. Good size shower. Everything was clean and ok. Surprisingly no noise from the town or other rooms. I have had really good sleep.

Very peaceful environment outside on the balcony - I was there early season so it wasn't so busy in town. Sea view and pleasant environment nearby with restaurants playing music. WIFI was good.

So when I pulled back the sheet the first night I discovered MANY, MANY HAIRS - short ones, long ones, straight and curly. Body hair, head hair, you name it and none of them weas mine. Obviously they didn't change the sheets prior to my arrival. DISGUSTING. When I brought it to their attention, the hosts apologized and were nice when they came to change the sheets. This led me to inspect the rest of the apartment. NOTHING had been cleaned for quite some time. Good thing the water was scalding hot and they gave me several towels. I wiped down all the surfaces and the towels were BLACK with dirt. The place hadn't been cleaned at all in quite some time. GROSS. I think all they did to turn the room was replace the toilet paper and take out the garbage. Due to this, I sterilized all the dished prior to using any of them. Also wore my shoes in the shower. It's a tiny room - there is NO EXCUSE for this level of neglect. Either fire the cleaning person or put better business practices in place to ensure all rooms are cleaned properly prior to use. Since COVID, many hotels have upped their game. I am impressed by how many accommodations have improved since the last time I traveled. This business will not survive if they continue in this manner. Bed was not comfortable. Balcony was very small. Room was advertised for two people, but there would be no room for two people to put their luggage. Also, in the photos it shows a TV, but the TV is in a common hallway and it would not be physically possible to use it. It is also a long, steep walk to get to this location, so keep that in mind if you are thinking of staying in old town. Also, apparently the water is not good to drink from the tap, so you will be lugging liters of water up the hill every day.

Excellent location, at the heart of the old city. Close to the castle museum and 2-3 restaurants. Room have a nice balcony with stunning sea view. Room is equiped with a small kitchen if you like to cook. Room was clean and comfortable. Owners are very kind and helpful
