Location was quiet but within easy reach of the main part of Valletta.

This is an old building, very typical for Valetta, made of limestone blocks. But inside, it has totally been refurbished. The apartment is quite large, with a large bedroom, and an even larger kitchen/living room. The bed was very comfortable. Although just off Triq Republikka, it is well away from the tourist areas. And so it was quite quiet, which is really important to me. Another advantage is that it can be reached directly by car, which means no traipsing through Valetta with luggage. I have to say it was an incredibly nice place to stay. Check in was pretty well automated.Their instructions are clear, and there was really no issue getting in and making myself comfortable. There is only one small warning to issue. There is no elevator in the building and no employee to help you with your luggage. So if you cannot manage your luggage, due to age or disability, this is not the place for you. Also, the stairway steps, being ancient, are not even in size. They are mostly OK, but again, they could represent a real problem for age or disability. I’m 75, and was able to manage it, but I think it would be very difficult for many older people.

There is a stove in the kitchenette. Although I was able to get it to work, more or less. it is one of those incredibly clever modern appliances where absolutely nothing is clear about how to make it work, the pictograms are almost incomprehensible because they are so clever, the graphics are almost invisible because someone was trying to be clever and cool, and there is no instruction book. One of their employees came by to show me how to make it work, and even he had problems with it. I hate very clever and cool design that are impossible to use. I do a lot of computer graphics work, and on several of my peripherals, the information you need is printed in black on black or white on white. This is beyond stupid. It’s not the fault of the building owners, but the fault of the appliance designers. The building owners would do well to provide clear instructions about how to use the appliances..

Absolutely beautiful apartment inside a magnificent old stone building (therefore there is a distinctive concrete smell inside the apartment). Great location and off-site staff that is reachable and responsive by email.

The bed mattress. I weigh 81 kg (180 lbs) and the bed mattress totally compressed under my normal weight. Recommend replacing it with a thicker, firmer and more comfortable mattress as soon as possible.

amazing location only 5-15 min walk from so many attractions, cafés, bars, restaurants, cathedrals , churches, really nice apartment with easy access to a roof terrace, in such a beautiful building too, honestly i cannot fault it ,it had everything we needed and more :)
