Old Lodge Apartment 4 by Vallettastay

Lovely location, beautiful building its in.

Uncomfortable bed and creaky, small double. Also we had 5 nights there and no extra towels.

Comfortable, clean, great location, mostly quiet

There’s a bar around the corner which was quite loud on the weekend but otherwise fine.

Location in historic Valletta. The style - arches, stone historic architecture. Spacious. Customer service was curteous, any issues were dealt with in a timely manner.

The items in the kitchen were limited. We loved the wine glasses, but there was no coffee maker, not enough cooking or serving utensils or dishes. The rooftop was a plus, but could be made more usable with comfortable furniture and umbrellas for shade.

Absolutely nothing, the apartment is creepy, has very uncomfortable bed, super thin and hard mattress and it screeches.

The first night we arrived suddenly we had a power outage. It took me almost an hour to get a response from the owner. They said we would have to wait until next morning but after I raised my voice they suggested I go downstairs to their maintenance room and try to fix the problem myself, absolutely not normal and unacceptable! After I threatened with reporting them to Booking and asking for a refund they sent someone who fixed the problem. It took them over two hours to arrive and fix it. The apartment was not clean and the bed was super uncomfortable that we couldn’t even stay there until the end, we left one day earlier and slept in a nice hotel that last night in Malta.

The apartment was super clean, well equipped and comfortable. Staff was helpful (whatsapp) on arrival. The building is amazing historical place.

The room was not well sound isolated so I sould hear everything from the street, especially cars early in the morning. However, the street is not very frequent, so it wasn't such a big issue. I'd definitely choose the appartment again during my next stay in Valletta.

Uncomplicated arrival, good service when renting and arriving. It is very easy to register, you are provided with all the information electronically. Amazing historic feel once you enter room. The apartment is very cozy, clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, there is coffee/tea. Location is good, a grocery shops nearby, in a few minutes walk you are at the main square.
