Casa San Carlo

The location is good, but other than that, there were a lot of negatives. One positive thing was that when I asked for a broom, I received it within half a day.

The first thing we noticed was that the ground-floor apartment was very damp, which meant, for example, that our towels wouldn’t even dry. The kitchen was moderately equipped. On the second day, ants started swarming the kitchen; they must have gotten in because of poor insulation. What bothered us the most was that we once found a cockroach the size of a pinky finger in the room. The kitchen was next to the bedroom, and the door wouldn’t close. The kitchen drain kept getting clogged. Many of the outlets are in very poor condition, and most of the small lamps didn't even have a bulb.

Комуникацията преди да пристигна беше бърза,после бавна. Алергична съм към прах. А тук имаше много. Не знам кой би трябвало да чисти ,но отделете повече време, навсякъде. Оправям си леглото сутрин и понеже чаршафа е дълъг повдигнах леко матрака да го подгъна. Отдолу не е чистено поне година. Снимките са оттам. Прах по телевизор, навсякъде. В банята водата на душа се оттичаше бавно. Вдигнах капачката на сифона имаше една шепа коса. За другото да не говорим. Бих им препоръчала да сложат механизъм за бавно затваряне на външната врата.

Deben mejorar la limpieza, había pelos en el baño. Y olor a aguas residuales en el baño, se veía la mancha negra en el techo por filtraciones del inodoro de arriba

The accomodation is really sweeat and nice. Everything is close.

Not Much!

The environnement is quite dark; it is like a dungeon. The bigger problem is that there is nowhere to sit in the sun. It was depressing. Possibly OK for a few days if you intend to always be out. Furthermore, some lights were not working in my apartement; I asked the cleaning lady to ask management to fix that; it never happened, even after I said it a second time to Elena. The property is at the other end of the peninsula, you have to walk back out of old Valletta to catch buses to visit. The manager sent me an email because he was angry at me; I wanted lights fixed; was that too much to ask? So, considering the lack of enjoyment, I left June 5th to go somewhere else and did send him an email.This reservation was paid in total in July of 2025, the moment I reserved; why so fast???-
