The apartment was spacious and fairly clean, which I appreciated.

The biggest issue was the noise. There were parties almost constantly, and the walls/floors seem to have no sound insulation at all — you could even hear people upstairs moving chairs. One night there was unbearable noise until around 4 a.m., with a loud banging/clanging sound every few seconds, almost like someone hitting a wooden gong repeatedly. It honestly felt like being on a construction site. I still have no idea what was causing it. The bed was uncomfortable and very squeaky, and the pillows were not comfortable either. The kitchen is quite old and was missing basic items such as a dish cloth or even a baking tray for the oven. Another inconvenience was the power outlets, since adapters are needed. When I asked at reception, they could barely find one available. There is also no hair dryer in the apartment — you have to request one at reception and leave a deposit, which makes little sense because there is almost never anyone at the reception desk, so returning the deposit when checking out would have been difficult. To make things even stranger, after housekeeping cleaned the room one day, our reusable shopping bag from Spar disappeared from the apartment. It was inexpensive, but still very odd and unnecessary. Overall, despite the apartment being spacious, the constant noise and multiple inconveniences made the stay quite unpleasant.

Host scorretto e inaffidabile, la notte prima della partenza, a mezzanotte e nove minuti (avevamo l'aereo alle otto di mattina) ci ha comunicato che l'alloggio da noi affittato non era più disponibile per motivi di manutenzione (e te ne accorgi a mezzanotte??) e ci ha spostato in un altro, secondo lui migliore, per noi negativo sotto tutti i punti di vista: era distante dalla posizione da noi scelta e ci costringeva a dormire tutti nella stessa camera, senza alcuna privacy. Quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare, chiedendogli un rimborso per i disagi a cui ci costringeva (ormai a ridosso della partenza che altra possibilità avevamo se non accettare?), non solo ce lo ha negato ma quasi voleva che lo ringraziassimo perchè, secondo lui, il nuovo appartamento era migliore in quanto a posizione e aveva la piscina sul rooftop (una bagnarola 2.5*2.5 metri). Senza alcun rispetto per le nostre reali esigenze. Per muoversi con i mezzi pubblici sono necessari almeno 2 bus per arrivare ovunque e la fermata si trova distante, dopo una lunga salita. In più, arrivati sul luogo, l'appartamento non era neanche quello corrispondente al link che ci aveva mandato, ma molto peggio. La finestra del bagno era rotta. La cucina non offriva nulla, due padelle scrostate, un solo cucchiaino per tutti e quattro, niente per le prime necessità (nè sale, nè zucchero, nè the, che ormai tutti offrono). Letti scomodissimi. Ma la cosa peggiore è la confusione estrema che regnava tutta la notte. Affacciando su una chiostrina, si sentivano gli schiamazzi di tutti (la maggior parte ragazzi venuti per l'addio al celibato). Insomma, sconsigliato totalmente!
