Modern apartment - Excellent location 50m from the beach, restaurants, bars, shops

Maybe apartment not suitabley positioned for older people like us.

Great location, near the beach Flic Flac, restaurants. Supermarket is 8 min from the apartment. The best is Cecile, always ready to help, great reccomedation for trips. Thank you Cecile for great service!

Whole building is renovated and feels like new. It is very close to the beach Flic en Flac and there is a lot of free parking places behind the building. Very safe and quiet area. Cécile was always helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was always open and it was good for relaxing with kids.

Everything was perfect, no complaint or no negative feeling.

A very modern, well furnished and tastefully decorated purpose built three bed appartment. Not huge but big enough. Excellent wardrobes and hangers made it very practical to unpack for our weeks stay. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two children. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was excellent. The fans in the lounge were also very good with speed settings 1,2 and 3. Wish we'd realised that that the highest speed was setting 1 earlier though. We found the appartment to be very well equipped. The kitchen had everything you might need to self cater, iron and ironing board, and even camping chairs for the beach and an umbrella. Wifi was good, sofa and chair comfortable. The swimming pool is very well maintained and clean. Location is excellent being only 20m walk through a walkway to the beach. Shops are close by and parking is adequate. Appartment was very clean upon arrival and the appartment complex feels very secure due to it being gated. You need a code to enter the pedestrian gate.

Complaint. We had no hot water to shower with for two nights due to a valve not being opened properly on the roof. We didn't find the manager to be very responsive, so we had to contact the owner Johanna, who was very responsive to this issue and got it resolved quickly. She also responded very promptly when there was a local power cut which stopped the air conditioning from working for a short duration. Little suggestion. Create a one page reference guide with information such as where to put the bins, how to use the internet TV box, fan speed settings, and introduce the caretaker named Mike who lives on-site and is always on hand for advice. It could include the information sent to me regarding local restaurants, activities,

Very well equipped with everything you need, nice and close to the main beach & restaurants, this is the perfect base to explore Mauritius from!

Best place to stay in Flic en Flac. Cecile is very helpful and wellcoming! Wish p you all the best!
