"Disappointing"

Booked 3 nights, very disappointed, too noisey, damp. Rang to cancel following 2 nights, misunderstanding due to language. Thought I'd cancelled 2 following nights through the property, didn't realise till later it should have been through Booking. Com. Unfortunately lost 2 nights payment as we left to go to another accommodation. Have contacted Property and Booking. Com . to try and get a refund , no result. Very disappointed.
