Polaris Suite

Very spacious. Beds were for 8 pax (2 large double beds). Each room has its own bathroom with water heater. Good water flow for the shower. There is simple cooking facilities - electric stove and microwave oven. Water dispenser for hot and room temperature water. Good wifi connection. Smart TV but you need to have your own Netflix account. Right in the heart of city centre. Very near to eateries and convenient stores. Gaya street night market is just 1 block away, but you need to bear with the noise during weekend. We walk around the city by foot most of the time.

The noise from the night market. Luckily our booking timing was just right. We checked in on Saturday-Tuesday so the noise was only on Sat night. Water heater in one of the bathroom broke down on Sun night. Informed admin the next day morning, the admin staff came to check but maintenance guy did not come until I prompted again at night. Lift broke down on Mon but they were quick to fix after being prompted. Cannot imagine if we need to bring down our luggages 3 floors down the next day... Phew...

No breakfast provided. Location is good.

No proper checking was done prior to client check-in: 1) TV was not working due to connection error. 2) Safe box is not functioning ie unable to use. 3) Water heater in the first room is ON and OFF working ie most of the days had to bath with cold water in the morning. 4) No of towel provided for a total of 5 paxs is not sufficient during the 4 days stay. No front desk available to call for assistance. 5) For muslim, no sign of qiblat and prayer mats provided. 6) Only one plastic bag provided during the 4 days stay.

The modern design.

We experience two times of lift/elevator was not functioning. But the action from maintenance team was swift once we logged report. I didn't notice on the note that administrative matters (check in check out) have to be done at Hotel Sixty3 which 5-6 block away from the Suite. I have to walked by myself there.

Fantastic location, property resembled as it was in the photos. Very clean, courteous staff. Near to almost everything and a very lively location. Free airport taxi service thru booking.com. They were in touch via whatsapp from the day before arrival.

Not a big thing for most people given the positives for this accommodation. I would definitely come back myself. Just to few hassles: 1. Check in is at a nearby Hotel sixty3 which is seven minutes walk. This was a slight hassle as you need to go there to checkin and again go there to check out and receive the 200RGT deposit back. This could be modified to help the guests do it at the Polaris suites venue itself. On arrival, booking.com transport helped us check in and brought us to the polaris suite. But for checkout we had to walk over and complete the formalities. 2. The bedrooms were not sound proof and lot of vehicular noise even past midnight especially if you are a light sleeper.
