Very friendly owners and obliging.

I loved the size of the unit, the well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, smart water filter, a microwave oven, etc), the clean white sheets, TV with Netflix, other amenities, and the overall nice smell of the unit. The location of the apartment is also walkable to downtown Kota Bharu, the night market etc. There's a nice coffee place and a convenient store on the ground level.

The track lights - two sets each in the living room and the bedroom - were too harsh; the burnt-out bulbs of the chandelier over the dining table needed to be replaced. No toilet paper in the bathroom, no counter space to put toiletries, and the shower walls were mouldy - I spent 30 minutes scrubbing but it also felt very satisfying! (This has nothing to do with the unit: the chairs and sofa in the lobby of the building were filthy!)
