I recently stayed from 07 to 09 June 2025. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations, especially as it was my first visit to i-City and meant to be a special birthday celebration. Upon arrival at 3:00 PM—the stated check-in time—the unit was still not cleaned. We had been waiting in the area since morning and only went to the unit at the scheduled time. However, the place was not ready, and we had to wait outside while the cleaner completed the job. There were several issues with the unit itself: • The toilet was not properly cleaned. • There was a persistent unpleasant smell near the main door. • The hair dryer was not working, which made it difficult to dry long hair. • The refrigerator emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. • One of the cabinets was unstable and nearly fell. • The paint in the master bedroom was cracked and peeling. • The curtain on the toilet window was too small and did not provide sufficient privacy. To acknowledge the inconvenience, we were given a RM20 compensation. While the gesture was appreciated, it did not fully make up for the overall experience, especially given the nature of our visit. I hope these concerns will be addressed for the comfort of future guests.
