The property is semi subterranean, an it is feels slightly damp and uses a pump for the toilet/waste water that unfortunately broke during our stay. Although this didn’t impact our stay or result in us not being able to use the facilities, it would have been good to be aware that the unit is semi underground as it looks much brighter and lighter in the photos than it actually is.

A bit dark inside and lacking natural light. Although it was very clean and tidy, one of the pillowcases looked to have pink makeup on it.

The unit was beautifully decorated and very modern. We had all the amenities described in the booking available to us. Parking was all good but the gate wouldn’t close at night as per our instructions from the owner. We tried multiple times to close the gate but it seemed to not work. The key lock was a little fiddly. But once we got in it was fine. The stairs weren’t mentioned in the description however it created a quiet cove for my family so you couldn’t hear the traffic noise at all. We didn’t realise the owners live above our accomodation but they left us to our business. We followed the instructions and cleaned the unit from top to bottom before we left this morning including vacuuming the floors and emptying all bins in the larger bins upstairs. Other than that it was a lovely unit to relax in for our short stay.
