Oxley's Superior Apartment

It was exceptionally clean. Location.

Advertising says sea view. No sea but a view of marina, a bit disappointed.

The apartment was in a great location easy access to the town. Easy check info given. The apartment had all the mod cons you needed .

The maintenance was a bit slack as the ensuite shower light did not work so you had to shower in the dark. We could not get the TV to work on Freeview so maybe you can have a look at a better operation system for this some oldies may find it difficult to work out. We had a tech person with us and we couldn’t figure it out.

We arrived earlier than check in time after our trip on the ferry but arrived to constant pouring rain in Picton. We contacted the host and asked if the room was ready and were very pleased that it was and that we could check in a bit earlier. This was such a help with 2 young children to be able to get inside in the warm. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and spacious. The view was lovely even in the pouring rain. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry with washer and dryer were very welcome after a week of travel already. Underground parking and undercover access to the room was also helpful.

Proximity to town was excellent. Large, spacious and clean. An easy stay.

There was some scaffolding up which I didnt initially see on booking.com.. Perhaps it could've been more clear before booking

Location was fantastic!

Scaffolding’s was described as obscuring 5/10% of the view. On arrival this was more like 50%.

La proximité du port et la vue, le confort des lits.

Les 2 chambres donnant sur le couloir sont bruyantes et la lumière du couloir extérieure ne s’éteint pas la nuit donc malgré le volet il ne fait pas noir dans la chambre.

I didn't get the email on how to use the lock box until I had started my journey. Didn't know there was scaffolding outside the apartment but host was generous with a bottle of wine

Erg ruim en schoon appartement, modern ingericht. Mooie plek met uitzicht op de jachthaven. Op de begane grond een prima restaurant, waar we dus ook heerlijk hebben gegeten. Dichtbij de ferry-terminal.

Het complex wordt aan de buitenzijde van een nieuwe deklaag voorzien. Daardoor wat hinder van steigers en bijhorende werkzaamheden. De hinder is echter beperkt en alleen in de daguren. Verder was dit tevoren aangegeven, dus niet onverwacht.
