"Aging condo close to the airport #A105"

The good: Apartment although has seen better days still represents good value. It's spacious with a balcony and is well equipped. There is security. The swimming pool is on the complex. Close to the airport . Air con is cold The bad: Few things need attention. Kettle doesn't boil, shower works intermittently, WiFi is flaky, YouTube TV doesn't connect often (probably due to flaky WiFi) Taps are loose, Front door key doesn't turn, lacks general maintenance The Ugly : I broke the front door key, due to the lock not working.. due to lack of maintenance.. The owner tried to blame me and charge for damages. They fixed it begrudgingly and eventually after a day. In the meantime I couldn't lock the door and the apartment wasnt secure. The owner was more concerned about the next guest than ensuring the situation was resolved quickly. The maintenance guys sent were amateurs without proper tools. Clearly they didn't want to pay for professional help. Spoiled my stay actually. I was worried about my documents and other valuables. Additionally the security is extreme..I'm used to pointless bureaucracy in the Philippines but having to fill out 2 forms for each guest just to use the pool, is just too much. Visitors are scrutinized first by guard then second level security at the building.. my guest felt uncomfortable.

I like that it's close to the airport and it has a mini store in the room. comfortable bed. I also like that the host is very nice. will book this again next time.

Mosquitoes on balcony area to much , the air conditioning unit seems to have a leak outside worth checking out .
