Magic On Maryburn - The Green Room

Flexible check-in via lock box was nice. Nice amount of space and bed was comfortable. Area was very quiet. Had a washing machine/dryer although it did not dry clothes very well.

When you exited building motion activated lights went on which was bad for start gazing. Was 50 min+ drive to mount cook hikes and activities. Twizel has more dining options than mount cook but not good enough to offset the drive. Place is run by a rental company so lacks personal touch and hospitality of B&B type places we have often stayed at in NZ.

It was comfortable and the hosts were responsive

Being located in town surrounded by other houses made it just ok

Loose tap fittings. All of them. Keysafe not easy to see. Parking needs to be more clearly marked. We annoyed a neighbour

Nice large spaces and well equipped. Very helpful instruction/attraction/restaurant info.

Strange bathroom door; it swings the wrong direction, and can’t open all the way. No garbage can in the bathroom, and water goes all over when showering. The toilet tissue holder needs repair. We also noticed some stains on the couch and carpet

The property was small and the sofa bed is not comfortable for sleeping.
