What a memorable place to stay in. Laurie the host has done a great job renovating the house with the Art deco theme . The personal touches create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The cottage was spotless on arrival and well organized for guests. Laurie and his wife made us feel welcome during our stay They are friendly and courteous. The free fruit bowl and chocolates were a nice gesture. Authentic, genuine hospitality. The accommodation is located in a quiet suburb of Napier in a peaceful location. A perfect spot to rest. I highly recommend staying at this place. Thank you for making our stay a fantastic experience Laurie and his wife.

Art Deco Feature of the place, and art deco articles and books was great. Excellent equipped Kitchen, with great range of hot drink options and a bonus of a fruit bowl. Nice touch with the folded towels and chocolates. Shower with low flow monsoon shower head was nice. Didn't realise the place didn't have a TV. A smart TV would be a nice addition.

We loved this quirky art deco cottage. Beautifully fitted out. The host was very friendly and communication great.

Unfortunately a cyclone came through so we had to stay indoors for 24hrs and this cottage has no TV which would have been helpful.

"Fabulous art deco accommodation"

We had a fabulous two night stay and loved the art deco themed accommodation. The apartment was so roomy, comfortable bed, kitchen, lounge, all beautifully decorated in art deco style. Laurie was a great host, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was included and fresh fruit was supplied. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Napier, only a short drive to the city and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Highly recommended! The location is convenient and the property is surprisingly quiet. Inside feels like a little museum — we loved the vintage photos and charming décor throughout. The host was welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again!
