"A fabulous stay in Napier, immersed in the art deco culture"

Quirky and cosy property decorated in authentic art deco style. Very friendly host who showed us around and gave some background to the history of art deco in Napier. Well equipped apartment, clean and personal touches like fruit and cereal were very much appreciated. A bit too far out of the city to walk so we needed the car but apart from that the location was good. A very good local fishmonger serving fish and chips-either book ahead or be prepared to wait 45 minutes! Definitely recommend the Napier art deco trust’s walking tour for a good insight into the rebuilding after the earthquake in 1931.

Very enjoyable, highly recommend. The art deco design is great, gives the place a real homely feel. Super comfy bed in the bedroom. Complimentary fresh fruit was delightful and the mini chocolate. Has everything anyone could need for a short stay and the host Laurie is a top bloke. Loved it, will surely be back. Thanks Laurie.

Insgesamt ein wunderbarer, friedlicher , ruhiger Ort mit Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre.. Ein tolles gepflegtes, blitzsauberes Apartment mit umfangreicher Ausstattung und außergewöhnlicher, großzügiger Vielfalt für Frühstück. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Wirklich ganz besonders 😊🤗

Everything is perfect. You feel instant warm welcoming from Laurie even before you done parking. The greeting fruits and chocolate are definitely a plus. The room layout, decorations especially the beddings are super comfortable. Please come and stay here if you are at Napier. Highly recommended. Hope to revisit some day:)

I loved all of it, couldn't fault it. The place was roomy, private, clean, cute and comfortable. Everything was provided and there were many extras such as fresh fruit, coffee, milk, chocolates and cereals. The owner went above and beyond by showing me the way when I got lost and was most helpful. The Art Deco style is very authentic and there was plenty of reading material available on local places of interest. It is truly a peaceful haven to visit and I thoroughly recommend it.

There was nothing not to like.
