"Great location but needs some work done and a bit of TLC."

Awesome views.

Not modern. Needs some TLC. Carpets very dirty. Picture in lowest bedroom had fallen off the wall and was stashed in the wardrobe, along with the only bedside lamp. (Not working) Toilet in main bathroom ran continuously and filled up often. The 3rd bedroom was not a room but a mezzanine over the kitchen. Make sure you can climb 2 long flights of stairs from lowest bedroom up to the living area.

"Not worth the price!"

The view from the balcony and the bedroom on the middle floor was great.

- musty/funky smell throughout the whole apartment - carpets, couch and cushions in poor condition with stains - outdated fittings and feel - beds are quite uncomfortable especially for a long stay - bathroom on 2nd floor Small and shower leaked water onto bathmat. - apartment needs a revamp or drop the cost per night to match the condition of the place.

Not super clean. Interior looked better on the photos than it really was. Third „bedroom“ is an open area above the living room.

"The view is beautiful but disappointing with appartment."

The View

The lounge had ripped arms and cushions uncomfortable. Coffee table old and badly marked. Patio with view had a tiny table and only 2 outside chairs(this is 6 person Appartment). The kitchen was very badly equipped with odd crockery, unsharp knifes and old and stained chopping boards. Hob kept switching off so was difficult to boil anything. Fridge kept freezing food and had such a lean on it that it was hard to open door. Smoke detectors were missing and lamp shade on hall stairs missing. Bathrooms tatty and need updating. Quilts on beds stained and no quilt covers. One bedside unit in each room and no bedside lights. Small mezzanine bedroom has no storage for clothes and was above kitchen . Generally poor quality equipment and all needs re furnishing with new .

"The apartment has outstanding views. However you need to be able to walk down steep and up steep"

The apartment is aging. The main toilet was broken and despite asking for repair nobody came. For a 4 night stay we would have expected some service, fresh towels empty rubbish and not have to buy our own toilet paper.

"Great views with bad customer service - not coming back anytime soon!"

Great views and ample space for whole family. Good workout going to the rooms as well. ;)

Property management admitted to us that it was an older property, so is "Modern" really the right term? The oven and microwave were broken. The microwave got replaced after 2 or 3 days, when they could have just gone down the road to buy a new one, but we weren't t high enough priority apparently. Customer service was a shambles at first, communication was poor, the after hours service hotline goes nowhere and online you're chatting with someone probably from overseas or either totally uninformed about what was going on in Queenstown. When the weekend manager made contact things slightly improved and eventually we were offered a $100 refund after I pointed out that their staff hadn't replaced the battery in one of the fire alarms although it was sitting half opened on the TV table. This means staff noticed the battery was nearly empty due to the audio signal fire alarms have when going to low bat, but then just took the battery out to perform their duties in peace and left. So either the staff member didn't know to replace fire alarm batteries when they go low or didn't care. Neither of those are good options. After the refund was promised, it didn't arrive when promised so BCH was back to how they started. Eventually we got the money after inquiring again. It's a pity their customer service is so average, because my family was just stunned by the views, caught the father in law multiple times just looking out the window, and admiring the Remarkables. :D That is kind of what we were going for. Having to deal with online chat agents through the whole ordeal didn't make the experience any better. The weekend manager tried to make good and was then let down by other support staff again. Memories we will cherish forever... lol
