Ruru Lodge

This place was amazing. The hosts were great and you could tell from the moment you got there how much love n pride they put in this lodge. They thought of every little detail ,from books and activities when you walk in to all the amenities you could possibly need. The property was very well looked after ,so much knowledge about the area. We went to a concert up the road n we were told a trick about parking that saved us when driving out . We can't wait for our next visit. Thank you so much!

Better directions to find the place

We spent only one night here which was a mistake We had the upper flat and it has a stunning view over the bay. It is very well equipped with all you need in the kitchen, which is also the large living room. Very good beds, nice shower/ bathroom and all the snorkeling etc. equipment available. Also a huge selection of leaflets about the area, a very nice map with all places of interest hand made with pins. We can fully recommend this place

The place is amazing. Even let our little fur baby stay ad well. Clean, quiet and just a perfect get away.

The place and the view were lovely. The weather turned nasty, but you could only tell when you looked outside!

Beautiful setting , exceptionally clean. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into making the unit welcoming. The little extras such as milk, cotton wool, nicely tied blankets etc all made for a wonderful feeling of belonging.

It would have been beautiful if the view could have been enjoyed from more than just the kitchen!
