Sehr originelles Studio in einer alten Werft, tolle Lage direkt am Hafen.

Da es sich um ein altes Gebäude handelt ist die Schalldämmung zwischen den beiden Studios nicht optimal.

A pleasant studio, in the centre of the village of Middelharnis. It is located in the boat yard overlooking a small marina and is decorated with local maritime artefacts. Clean and comfortable, with a double bunk bed and a single sofa bed it was comfortable for two adults, two children and a small dog. It is one of the rare properties that doesn't charge extra for bringing a dog. It is easy to communicate with the host via messages. They reply almost immediately. Good value for money. The village is near a pretty beach. The locals that we briefly met are very friendly and happy to share the information on the history of the area.

Small quaint town was minutes away. Liked being able to walk to dinner and browse the Main Street.

Accommodations were a little too rustic for us. Didn’t like the fact we couldn’t park our car in the parking area inside the property gates.There was plenty of parking spots but were directed to park across the street. First property where coffee pods were not supplied. Two electrical outlets were nonfunctional and falling apart. Didn’t feel clean.

Just could have a little catch on the shutters so they closed better. Apart from that, nothing to dislike. Loved the theme of the room and the comprehensive facilities

Communication with the co-host, decor, localisation, the most comfy/cosy bed ever!

As I am a cleaning freak, I notice dirty dishes or untidy front/worktop in the kitchenette, so was not impressed by that and the fact that utensils needed to be washed prior using, especially for the price. Another thing was that there are few studios in the building, but this is not made clear on booking.com (I thought we were booking the whole house). We were given a studio with sort of a large bunk- bed, instead of a room with 1 double bed and 1 with separate beds. Luckily, we were a family of 3 + a family friend and could use the bed as it was, but if there was a group who do not necessarily want to sleep in 1 bed together, that would be an issue. I'd suggest this is clarified for the further guests. Lastly, the bathroom was cold as no heating; the light is automatic and turns off while you shower. 🙈
