Askray Apartment - Lake Tekapo

The single unit cooking top is not working, cooking bench is oily and not even cleaned when we arrived in the property, one of the bed had some white stop under the duvet and found out only early in the morning when I wake up, one curtain come off from the rail, floor carpet not even cleaned, cups, glasses and cutlery should be upgraded up to standard, like the cup had some stained. The people from the reception are even bad and not even interested to listen when i say something about the cooking top that not even working

Comfortable beds.

Minimal seating in lounge area, I was so tired that I so wanted to slump into the couch but my travel companion had the couch so I had to sit upright. I believe that there is room for another similar couch if you moved the table over.

Location was good

Beds were uncomfortable poor quality

The kitchen cooker was poor. The utensils were very old. The TV was very old.

Great location, good parking (we had 2 cars). Very warm and comfortable. Nice bathroom with excellent shower pressure. Spacious. Beds were very comfortable, and warm! Plenty of storage space for luggage in bedrooms. Having a washing machine was great!

Very minor things, some things missing from the kitchen, I.e. scissors, dish rack. The clothes airer was bent and close to breaking. Seating, only one 2 seater sofa, and two individual cane chairs. With the space, a second sofa wouldn’t go astray at all. Very minor cleaning in the shower, some exit mould would do wonders. No outdoor light at the front.

The verandah deck has been dripping melting ice over the ground floor unit entrance and frontage.
