"Exceptional home away from home"

45° South far exceeded our expectations. The cottage is so comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. The view from the verandah was beautiful, very relaxing looking over the pond with the mountains topped with snow in the background. 45° South is one of the best, if not the best, home away from home we have ever stayed in. Thank you Ian & Sally

"So much more than a cottage"

The cottage was so much more than we expected .. beautifully presented, modern with lots of little personal touches and extras We loved the location and outlook we would have stayed longer if we could have Ian was a marvellous host

Well presented, with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Beautiful views of the mountains and farm. Just a few minutes out of Te Anau. Very private and serene. Very friendly and knowledgeable host Ian. Highly recommended.

Incredible hospitality, beautiful view, amazing place to stay. A bit out of the city centre but with a fully equiped kitchen and a porch and living room to enjoy. 100% recommended!

Incredible location. Overlooking a small lake with lots of wildlife. The hosts are amazing! Very friendly people! Secluded and quiet area with incredible views. The property is very modern with everything you need. Furnished to a very high standard. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting, new, comfortable and beautiful views

Would have like to light the fire but was not a necessity as air conditioning heating was enough but would have been enjoyable
