Waves on the Esplanade

Excellent location for our main activity in Kaikoura (very early morning dolphin cruise) as it was just a minute's walk to the dolphin cruise centre. Undercover parking a bonus and imagine it would be a very welcome in inclement weather. Spacious apartment with pleasant ocean view and if we had stayed longer, would have spent a great deal of time on the balcony, I'm sure.

Two things: the apartment had an odd odour, possibly the cleaning products used, but to my senses, unpleasant. The other was a constant low hum, like a motor droning away, that I heard all night in my bedroom that disrupted my sleep. Possibly plant located on the roof (we were top floor) and close to my bedroom, as my friend in other room did not notice it.

Everything! The apartment was perfect. From the lift access for my elderly Grandfather through to how well stocked the kitchen was. Everything was so clean and easy to find. the hosts were so accomodating even allowing us to stay an hour longer as my Grandad wasn't feeling well. We will be back for sure!

Alison was fabulous to deal with. We have stayed here before and will stay again, it's clean, comfortable, has all the things you need and has a beautiful view, privacy and comfy beds!

Location and facilities.

It was cold, even with the heat pump at 31° the book case got hot but not us. It had a strange smell. Cooking?

This apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Location was perfect. Would highly recommend to others visiting Kaikoura.
