Timeless Ambassador -Belém

Les équipements et le mobilier de haute qualité et très propres, nous ne manquerions de pratiquement rien, sauf fer à repasser et sèche linge.

L’isolation phonique, le parquet est de haute qualité mais pas bien isolé, nous entendions énormément les voisins du dessus c’était difficile à vivre au quotidien. Et pour moi les draps doivent être changé dès qu’un client passe plus de 2 nuits dans le logement. Nous en avions fait 6 des nuits.

The location. Close to congress center for conference, also within walking distance to Jeronimos monastery and Pastel de Belem. The apartment is clean with modern appliances.

The location was ok, apartment has a modern design

After we unpacked everything, some of my family went out into Lisbon and I stayed home with my 3 year old son. We were sleeping and suddenly, at midnight, someone tried to enter the apartment. It turned out the host had given us the entry instructions and code for the wrong apartment. The host then called me and told me I had to pack up everything and leave. I explained I was with a 3 year old child and couldn't just pack everything by myself and leave in the middle of the night. But they insisted we had to leave immediately. Clearly they weren't willing to admit their mistake and pay to put the other guests in a hotel for the night. My son was crying and scared - he didn't understand why these people were coming to the door and making us leave in the middle of the night. I had to try to console him while trying to pack everyone's suitcases and move them downstairs to the correct apartment. We got to bed in the other apartment finally at about 2am (the latest my son's ever been awake). This was the worst thing I'd ever experienced on a holiday. I complained to the host the next morning - we requested a partial refund, just for 1 night out of 5, given the horrible ordeal we experienced. But they refused and instead offered us to stay an extra night. I explained we had return flights booked and no plans to return to Lisbon, but unfortunately they still refused any kind of partial refund. We did stay a few extra hours in the apartment on the day we left (late checkout) but it didn't feel anywhere near reasonable compensation. The host also tried to blame us for not realising the first apartment wasn't the one we booked, and also tried to blame the app that is used to send codes/instructions - basically it was everybody's fault but their own, so they won't take any responsibility.

Bedding.. prefer a duvet. Maybe provide usb and or c charging points Shower doesn't drain well..

Tastefully decorated, spacious, modern apartment. Nice host! Well located, close to bakery shop which provide delicious breakfast and bus stop. There is small grocery store nearby. Very conveninent stay.

Incredible accommodation. The shower was fantastic, with good water pressure and heat. Nice kitchen with included dishwasher and washing machine. The location is a half block from the tram and bus lines, so easy access to everything.

The air conditioner in one room cycled on and off, quite often, even when the unit seemed to be powered off.. Noise from walking in the unit above can be heard, so if you are sensitive to noise, this can be an annoyance. Both minor issues, but if you're sensitive to noise, could be dealbreakers.

Excellent hygiene, spacious, well maintained and presented!
