Stay Home Lisbon

First off the host picking us up from the airport and taking us to the apartment was a great touch and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Then explaining what was what about the apartment and were to go to the venue my son was competing at, along with areas of where to go for breakfast etc. the accommodation itself was in a great location just outside the main tourist areas but within walking distance, we felt the food near were we where staying was much better that the main touristy areas so a great benefit. The apparentment also had everything you needed for a stay, beds were comfortable the apartment was clean. To top of a great stay my son then made the podium at the IBJJF Europeans Championships

Nothing everything was excellent - but one thing I would do, to make the stay even more special is have something there for the guests to resemble the city such as Pasteis de nata: this is a small idea but starts someone city break off on a positive - that something extra special and not expensive to do

The house had all the facilities useful for a journey, pretty neat and cosy, the location is perfect for travelling with public transportations.

It is a friendly spacious appartement. Everything works.

In general the maintenance is in bad shape. There is mold around the shower and at the window side in the kitchen. The whole appartement needs some fresh paint as well. There are a few things you need to repair in your appartement, for example the wall sockets in the bedroom are broken, that does not feel safe. The temperature of the warm water is set on 50 degrees. To prevent a Legionella infection (veterans disease) it should be on 60 degrees or more. The coffee machine is not very handy, we would suggest to replace it for a better one. The appartment needs some TLC, it is worn out a bit. Missing items: a pair of scissors.

Great location

Our charming host Paulo collected us at the airport and took us to the apartment. Apart from needing small improvements to the propert it was more than adequate and very comfortable.

The shower leaks

Nice furnished, practical kitchen, nice backyard.

Nice, old apartment, relatively far from overcrowded tourist attractions, but having good connection via metro, that is within 5 minutes walking distance from it. Good surrounding area. Flat has everything you need to stay in comfort. The host was very nice, helped us with all needed information. 24h underground parking for the decent price is nearby, which is also a plus.

The only minus I can admit is that the airport is nearby, so the noise can bother you late in the evening...

Very pleasant stay. We loved everything about it. The apartment is well maintained in an old building. The neighborhood is lively close to everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to come back to.

I like this place very much. The location is very convenient. It only takes 6-8 minutes to walk to the nearby supermarket or subway station. The bed was very comfortable and the house felt very safe with several locks. The landlord was very nice and picked us up from the airport when we arrived.
